We need your help to prevent violence in Hillsborough County!
Safe & Sound Hillsborough seeks your assistance in doing just that, working together to build strong families, safe schools and healthy neighborhoods. We believe it is critical to address all forms of violence as a public health issue. And the fact is that our community has a violence problem. The problem includes domestic violence, bullying, abuse affecting our most vulnerable children and seniors, and firearms in the hands of criminals who wish to do harm.
We cannot hope to have a great conference, bringing over 500 people together without the help of individuals and institutions like yours. We ask that you help us by being a sponsor of this inaugural event.

Individuals that have demonstrated exemplary grass roots leadership will be recognized with the Kevin Beckner Community Builder Award at this year’s Violence Prevention Conference, SafeSummit’19 (www.SafeSummit19.com). The award highlights an individual’s efforts to promote safety and community from one or more of the following communities:
• Plant City
• East Tampa
• University Area
• Wimauma/South County
Nominees for awards may be volunteers or members of a recognized organization who demonstrate selfless dedication to improving the quality of life in their community. Awardees will be notified in writing and may be invited to receive their award during the S&SH SafeSummit’19 Violence Prevention Conference in May 2019. In addition, a mini-grant of up to $750 will be awarded on behalf of each winner so that he/she can “pay it forward” to a community project of his/her choice.
