Through the Safe & Sound Hillsborough Neighborhood Zone Grant focusing on the target zip code area of 33612, the first University Area Youth Leadership Council Meeting is scheduled on Monday, August 29th, 2016 beginning at 6:00 PM located at Copeland Park, 11001 N. 15th Street, Tampa, FL 33612. The University Area Youth Leadership Council is a great opportunity to empower, engage, and educate youth to make our neighborhoods safe. The youth will learn leadership skills, earn volunteer hours, and come up with community led action projects to reduce violence in our community. Youth ages should be between 10-16 years old, and must live within the target area zip code of 33612 in the University Area community.
