Safe & Sound Hillsborough is excited to participate in the free Film Screening of The Armor of Light and conversation with U.S. Representative Kathy Castor and a distinguished panel of community leaders. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, February 22nd, 2017 beginning at 6:30 p.m. located at the University of South Florida(USF), University Lecture Hall, 4202 E. Fowler Avenue, Tampa, Florida. Parking is available at the USF Sun Dome.
This powerful documentary features an Evangelical minister and the Florida mother of a teenage shooting victim whose story has case a spotlight on “stand your ground” laws. The Armor of Light follows these unlikely allies through trials of conscience and heartbreak as they work to help others consider America’s gun culture through a moral lens.
